Provide Project Management and general consultancy skills.- Contracted to the Ministry of Social Development to perform their Systems Integrator role which involves: - Release Management - Change Management - Environment ManagementThe role incompasses the management of project releases from System Test through UAT and Integration Testing and into Production. It requires: - the management of all formal test environments for a release ensuring the appropriate release levels are maintained and all necessary components are installed and integrted and the retrofitting of production releases to all applicable environments. - all necessary Change Management processes are followed and, where applicable, presentation of releases to CAB for approval. - planning, documentation and execution of production releases.

· Ensure the adherence to common practices, processes across all of the Services Delivery organisation including: o Standardise the functions of Local Services across regions including processes, skills, performance assessment, auditing competencies, competency development under the coordination of and in collaboration with the PMO. o Definition, compliance, auditing and driving improvement of common practices (e.g. project lifecycle and project whiteboard). o Assist Service Delivery Managers in the recruitment of new staff. o Provide Assist with bid responses for Local Services. o Assist with partner identification and training. · Focussing on driving continuous improvement to deliver consistent, reliable, repeatable and scalable outcomes that are in line with the group and the company strategies and practises. · Track improvement initiatives across Services Delivery. · Own selected new initiatives. · Assist and advise local management and project team. · Ensure prompt and pro-active identification and resolution of issues and risks that arise across Services Delivery. · Define, implement and monitor metrics for the Services Delivery group. Includes compliance with any overall eServGlobal and business unit metrics. · Build effective working relationships both within the group but also across the company. · Reports to the Services Delivery Director.

Running a group of 50+ Support Engineers and Customer Support Managers across 7 countries supporting Intelligent Network (IN) solutions in the ICT industry.Responsibility for support services where they are provided locally to the customer.

Delivering maintenance and support services to the companies customers in the Asia/Pacific region. Particularly includes New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and India.

· Ownership of software release management for the Engineering Support Group. Includes tracking of all software releases through to customer implementation. · Focussing on driving continuous improvement to deliver consistent, reliable, repeatable and scalable outcomes that are in line with the group and the company strategies and practises. · Own and track improvement initiatives across Support. · Own selected new initiatives. · Assist and advise Support management. · Ensure prompt and pro-active identification and resolution of issues and risks that arise across Support. · Define, implement and monitor metrics for the Support group. Services Group - EuropeResponsibilities: · Integration and implementation of Intelligent Network (IN) solutions in the European region. · Functional verification and internal acceptance testing of IN solutions. · On-call 24x7 support of the European customers. · Provide consultancy services to define customer requirements and develop new services for customers. · Provide customer training.

· Design, develop and test Unisys' telephony applications. · Travel to customers to install software.
