Responsible for completion of planned work and update of the maintenance system (SAP) to maintain full compliance. Working with PTW and taking a lead role in task based risk assessments as well as keeping all other safety documentation up to date to maintain HSE standards. Responding to breakdowns on all of the ships systems including the full drilling package. Taking on and completing project work as part of a continuous improvement program. Working with vendors to implement upgrades and new equipment. Training of local crew to enable them to work safely within the environment and to help them become valued crew members.

Have worked on various NOV projects both on and offshore the main bulk of the work I have been doing has been with the installation and commissioning team in Samsungs shipyard in South Korea. I worked with all the NOV equipment on several drillships and have carried out commissioning work on many parts of the equipment for both pipe handling and drilling. My responsibilities include full start up and commissioning, changes to the programs and adjustments to make the equipment work in the way it should to satisfy the customers' demands. I have worked with a core team of engineers and we recently successfully completed all commissioning work on one of the latest ships to leave Korea this ship was drilling within a month of leaving the shipyard.

Responsible for all of the automated equipment in Lexmark. Maintain the equipment using a PPM schedule. Updating and planning the schedule. Use of vision systems for inspection and pick and place. Working knowledge of View, OGP and Cognex for SPC measurements.Knowledge of 2D data matrix and barcode reading equipment used for product tracking. Project work including yield improvement. New equipment installation and validation. Plc program changes. 6 and 4 axis pick and place Robot programming. Training and ongoing coaching of maintenance and operations staff on the equipment. Good working knowledge of lean manufacturing.Work 12 hour shifts.

Worked as a Injection molding technician. Spent time working on projects for sun micro systems as well as some of the large car manufacturers. Worked on mold set up and control creating setup programs for specific tools and jobs. Also at this time started to work with pick and place automation as some of the larger molds required robots to unload the product.

Was take on by Exxon from school to join there apprentice program. Trained as an instrument tech working 4 days a week while attending collage one day and also two nights after work. During this time attained a NC followed up by an HNC.
