I've joined Perkins+Will from Bergmann Associates and previously Gantt Huberman Architects, theCharlotte-based firm which merged with Bergmann five years ago. My responsibilities includedworking closely with the trailblazing architect and civic leader Harvey Gantt, cofounder of GanttHuberman and former Charlotte Mayor, to help influence many of the region’s most significant andmemorable public places.Joining Perkins+Will is a natural next career step and an exciting opportunity for me.One of the appealing qualities of the firm is the skill of its teams to understand the cultural storyof each client and the related design opportunity.
