Charged with the planning, management, maintenance, installations, operation, and optimization for a deployed 4,250 infantry brigade combat team, the largest brigade network in Regional Command-East, Afghanistan consisting of 40 nodes, including joint network nodes, command post nodes, SIPR/NIPR access points, deployable KU band earth terminal commercial fiber circuits, and commercial line of sight. Engineered and operationalized the largest network in Afghanistan while deployed with 99.99% uptime delivering secure voice and data to over 70,000 personnel.Developed and integrated over 72 network terminals using satellite, optical, and microwave transport resulting in 100% redundancy at each location across Afghanistan.Installed full motion video line of sight antenna networks at nine locations that saved $198K per month and expertly migrated satellite terminals from IS906 to IS22.Awarded the Bronze Star medal in combat for unmatched leadership, dedication and technical acumen.
