About Malcolm Duck

Now director of Ducks Inn, Aberlady, Malcolm has been a passionate restaurateur since 1988 when he bought Le March Noir in Edinburgh. Golf handicap of 7, he played a lot of rugby but took up refereeing when he became self employed. Much more a participant than spectator. Malcolm was also an officer in the Royal Marines of 11 years.

It ended a 4 Star AA Restaurant with Rooms. the kitchen was awarded 2 AA Rosettes for food in 2005 which were retained through out.Ducks Inn was based on service excellence and making memories for customers. It featured regularly on Utube though and social media where many discovered it.
