Technical Architect, System Designer and Lead developer for their next generation of telematic systems. Design of system using .NET technologies (WPF/WCF/LINQ/Silverlight), specification and prototyping of programming tasks particularly C#, and direction of a small programming team, to collect very large volumes of telematic data (>10M transactions per day) from tens of thousands of vehicles’ GPRS, GPS & Engine management CANBUS hardware, asset tracking, and personal alarm hardware. Design & development of telematic tracking client on iPhone 3GS & 4 using Xcode / Cocoa Touch / iPhone SDK. Major project undertaken to Design, Act as Lead-Developer, and Implement Win XP/.NET based Telephone Call-Centre call management system using MS SQL Server, primarily VB.Net and also C#.Net. This system replaces their current web-based call management system for the logging and progression of Telephone faults, and is deployed at some 250 work stations in several sites across the country. It provides increased responsiveness and functionality compared with the web-based system, allows hand-over and escalation of calls between agents and managers, and also integrates with their legacy IBM-Mainframe based systems for accessing sales, customer and technical data regarding the telephone line at fault.Contract extended to provide an enhanced system, catering for several further departmental areas within BT, with substantially different information gathering requirements.Contract further extended to develop a web-based statistics reporting system for the above Call-Centre management system, accessing the MS SQL Server databases using ASP.NET and LogiXML reporting tools, and providing Call-Centre statistics to Directors and Managers.
