Leading specialist in the allocation, distribution and sales of the collectables category for Menzies Distribution, managing key accounts of Panini, Topps and Seymour in this category with annual sales in excess of £21 million.Leading a team for markedly improved sales of our largest collectable products Match Attax with sales up 20% and World Cup collections up 50% on previous editions. This also resulted in an increase of 5% market share in the collectables category.From August 2017 I was instrumental in Menzies gaining the full UK distribution rights for Topps collectable products to all wholesale depots in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. This came to fruition in May 2018From April 2017 I established and managed a new venture for the company, Menzies Export, which involves the distribution of UK magazines to 250 specialist retailers worldwide. This provided additional turnover of £1 million. I created new processes from scratch, collaborating with magazine suppliers to organise supplies, instigating development with SAP IT specialists to provide a bespoke IT system, liaising with international carriers and supporting our operational team to establish the most effective packing and distribution process to suit the business.Using skills gained whilst in D-Cipher created a thorough review of the process for handling collectable products, introducing new and highly effective processes to benefit sales.Developed powerful reporting for both publisher clients and branch management providing significantly improved visibility on the levels of stock and orders within the branch network.I have championed the introduction of SAP systems to the publisher account team, training others on this new system to our business highlighting its uses and benefits.I demonstrated strong management of Comag account, one of the most diverse magazine distributors from major titles selling 100k copies to foreign imported titles selling less than 10 copies.

A temporary secondment to a sub division of Menzies Distribution, specialising in the news and magazine category management for retail clients as well as sampling of non core business collectable and confectionary products.I initiated the supply and returns processes involved with the introduction of magazines into Boots, creating a dedicated ranges of titles to best suit the client.I was instrumental in creating new processes for the handling of non core business collectable and confectionary products through effective sampling campaigns.
