Malcolm Green was originally a farm boy from Illinois. He is a Veteran of the Korean war. Mr. Green received the degree of BSEE from MIT with majors also in Physics and Mathematics. Later he earned an MS Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from the UCLA. Anderson School of Business. Following his graduation from MIT, he worked initially for General Dynamics Corporation for five years for the Aerospace Division of the Leach Corporation as Vice President of Engineering for four years. He then joined Genisco Technology Corporation as General Manager of the Electronics Products Division for four years. Following this he became President of Ling Electronics Inc. and Econolite Corporation. He held both Presidencies for two years when Ling Electronics was sold and remained President of Econolite Corporation until its sale three years later. Both Ling and Econolite were "turn around" situations requiring major reorganization to return them both to profitability.In 1970 he joined two friends as a cofounder of Emulex Corporation. He served as Executive Vice President and performed the CFO and COO positions during six years with the company. As CFO he took the company public During this time he opened Emulex subsidiaries in Puerto Rico and Ireland. He also developed the European marketing and sales for Emulex. Later he also was assigned as engineering manager.Following Emulex he became President and CEO of Informer Computer Terminals Corporation. The company had entered Bankruptcy. Mr Green was able to bring it out and restore it to profitability until it was sold four years later. Mr Green then performed financial consulting with the Mechdyne Corporation and joined the company as Business Development manager for the Western US and Mexico. Mechdyne designs customized 3D display systems.Mr Green started Vutek 3D Systems, LLC in 2012.
