Malcolm has been producing music since 2006. getting his start in high school making hip hop beats on Fruity Loops 4 he quickly integrated the technical skills he learned from his father who was an electrical and computer engineer. Malcolm began learning all aspects of music, including sampling, music theory mixing and recording vocalist and musicians. He opened his first recording studio in downtown San Jose in 2009 called Xchange Studios. There Malcolm would learn to DJ, work with many local hip hop acts, and establish a working relationship with local college radio station 90.5 KSJS. Malcolm's music career further grew after taking the opportunity to build a recording studio for the youth and developed a program teaching youth how to produce and record music. His entrance into teaching was in 2010 at Silicon Valley Debug's YG studio's which Malcolm helped to build. Since then Malcolm has ran studios and developed curriculum for Adobe's AYV (Adobe Youth Voices), City of San Jose's 7 tree's, Roosevelt and Mayfair community centers. has taught at Sunol community school and Macla Movimento Arts. After Malcolm outgrew his vocal recording space downtown San Jose, he built a larger studio called Wholesounds Studio's in 2010. Wholesounds would service full bands, vocalist, and provide artist development with a full in-house team of producers, DJ's Videographers photographers and event planners. Malcolm has also worked as an engineer at mentor Sean (Brycentenial) Bryson's studio Theskyboxxdtsj up until its closure Summer of 2022. Malcolm since then has built another studio in the historic Sound Management building Where Smashmouf and Traxamillion used to have their spaces. Malcolm's new studio is called Wav.Haven Studios where he is currently working with a select few recording artists and is focusing most heavily on production and sync licensing.Malcolm has had credits in Amaduez Christ's documentary "out of the darkness" Netflix series "All American" Dr. Khalid White's children's book "Little Brother" and many other credits. Malcolm is a very community driven artists and is looking to build a larger community in order to share his skills nationaly.
