An energetic, focused college graduate with a bachelor degree in Sociology and a minor in cultural studies; possesses an impeccable work ethic, experienced in public and service. Diverse background includes social research, volunteerism, event planning and execution, and theatrical production.The recent employment as a Servant Leader Intern for AmeriCorps/Humanim helped to prepare me for the task of mentoring youths in a safe and nurturing environment. Furthermore, it was an excellent complement to my enthusiasm for sociological relations between staff and the youths. My employment as a park guide with the National Park Service in Washington, D.C. provided an excellent experience that focused on the importance of conserving our natural resources for all to appreciate. In addition my duty was to provide historical insight into our nation’s most revered monuments and memorials. As a student at Bridgewater College, I volunteered in many projects that served those in need, including at the Bridgewater Retirement Center and the Salvation Army. Teamwork, leadership skills, the understanding of conservation, oral communication, and event planning are the characteristics that I will bring to the fields of education, history, and conservation.
