Created the HR Shared Services Centre and implemented SAP HR and Payroll and Siebel CRM to serve Barclays UK and overseas employees. Achievements• Implemented SAP HR and Payroll to time and budget and reduced ROI from 9 to 7 years.• Centralised the work of 660 people to the SSC, achieving 56% headcount saving and £7M annual cost saving a full year ahead of schedule.• Included into the programme the insourcing and administration of the TUPE transfer of 8,000 addition staff from the merger with Woolwich building society.• Implemented Siebel CRM to support the SSC enabling multi-client service delivery, operational management information and activity based costing of services.• Engendered a customer-centric, commercial ethos across the SSC.• Achieved service stabilisation within three months of going live.• Directed the programme which enabled Barclays to decide not to outsource its Shared Services organisation• Winner of the HR category of the 2003 Management Consultants Association (MCA) Business Best Practice Awards. -
