Served in various duty stations in support of Biological Warfare defense. Duties included assignment to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense Chemical and Biological Defense Establishment in Porton Down, UK; Naval Medical Research Institute in Bethesda, MD; and detailed to an intelligence agency. Experienced in handling live Biological Warfare Agents at Biosafety Level III. Duties also included collateral duty as command Biosafety Officer.

Performed research into association of Human Papilloma Virus infection and over expression of the c-myc oncogene in human cervical tissue specimens. Performed DNA fingerprint analysis for paternity (both pre-natal and ante-natal) as well as forensic paternity testing. Served as laboratory radiation safety officer.

Pompano Beach, Florida

Provided independent oversight and checks of in process and final injectable pharmaceutical products in the form of allergen extracts. Conducted daily checks of temperatures, weights and measures, and autoclave functions. Performed sterility testing of products, as well as media activity testing. Verified and established traceability of materials during production.
