About Malcolm Lamont, Dipwset, M.Ed.

Multi-faceted individual with passion for, experience in, and love of wine, spirits, education and the confluence with technology.My drinks education journey started at UofGuelph with an elective in Oenology; which led to completing 9-course Certified Sommelier program in Ottawa; WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 and Diploma in Wines and Spirits; and certificates with Society of Wine Educators (CSS, CSW, Certified Wine Educator); and Wine Scholar Guild (IWS, FWS, SWS, Bourgogne M-L).Content knowledge in wines and spirits is supported by training and an undergrad degree in education (B.Ed.) from UOttawa, and a graduate degree (Master’s of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Studies) completed online from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
