Malcolm is a Private Equity Partner at Stephenson Harwood. Malcolm's experience includes all aspects of private equity and corporate transactions, both domestic and cross-border. Malcolm trained at Lovells (now Hogan Lovells) and worked in the private equity team there for 8 years post qualification. He then worked for Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Sydney, again specialising in private equity, was a partner in the private equity team at DLA and headed the private equity team at Charles Russell Speechlys before joining Stephenson Harwood.He regularly acts for private equity houses such as Elysian Capital and FPE Capital as well as management teams and investee companies. Malcolm's experience ranges from acting for private equity houses on mid-market and lower mid-market private equity transactions to acting for management on larger private equity deals. Malcolm was listed in The Lawyer Hot 100 for 2019 and was the most prolific M&A lawyer in the UK in 2018 and 2020 (mergermarket).
