On-site May-June 2018/2019. Assessing impact of glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA) since the last glacial maximum on hydrocarbon accumulation in the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. Acquisition of data to constrain GIA models, and interpretation of regional 2D/3D seismic using Petrel for validation.

Disassemble and reassemble components from a radar array used for various geophysical and near-Earth astrophysical experiments, mainly concerning the Aurora Borealis, operated by the University of Calgary.Assist members of a team of radar component technicians in the repair and upgrading of said components, while maintaining a high level of precision, detail, and safety.Work and live in a remote area of Canada’s north for an extended period of time, and communicate with coworkers in a friendly and patient manner.

Operate tubing elevators and hydraulic tongs.Perform equipment maintenance; clean rig, equipment, tools and worksite.Assist with moving rig and equipment from one location to another.Ensure tools are clean, accounted for and stowed away when not in use.

Well Monitoring, Lease Maintenance and general operation of Gas Plants, and sweet gas wells.Assisting operators in troubleshooting and repairs of general gas plant/well operations, as well as being present in the event of a call out or ESD.

Performing automotive oil and filter changes, changing various fluids accessible from underneath the vehicle. (incl. Transmission, Transfer Case, Differential)Organizing and having a working knowledge of parts stock and inventory.Working with Upper Technicians to provide an excellent customer service experience.
