Process ManagerA Harrison Beds 2004 - 2008My first role in this company was Process manager responsible for Health & Safety, Quality & product specifications. After 12 months I was asked to take over the development and introduction of our foam mattress & Kit divan base project, this had a successful launch into Retailers such as J Lewis and Feather & Black. These products continued to be made on the main site until it became obvious that we had outgrown the workspace available. I was then given the opportunity to manage the move from site into new leased premises (12,000 sq ft) this move was successfully achieved. Once again due to new developments of our more complex & expensive products the company had to move again, this time our board of directors decided to purchase a new building of 44000 sq ft, again I was given the task of project managing the move. This meant negotiating with contractors and ensuring completion target dates were met. Working alongside a good team we completed this move without losing a sale.
