Responsible for the site operations- Manufacturing, H&S, Quality. Currently Managing a massive restructure of the factory which when complete will allow for an increase in production of around 40% these changes are on schedule to be completed by April 2015.

JTM Contracts (part of the Pacifica group) we provide a nationwide repair service for domestic white, brown and digital appliances, including specialist swap-out services, spares distribution and warehousing. JTM has become a major supplier to the domestic appliance industry throughout the UK and Europe We currently service over 400 experienced engineers this leads to between 1000 & 1300 individual picks per week.My main duty is to ensure we pick/pack over 200 orders daily for next day delivery to engineers with a "right first time" attitude throughout the warehouse team

I was working as a self employed projects & efficiencies manager going in to small / medium size businesses to assist them in the reduction of overheads, stock levels, re-negotiating with existing/new suppliers looking at layouts creating one piece flow wherever possible and all health & safety issues, risk assessments, safe working procedures, training records etc, bringing up to date the employee handbooks/ contract of employments, setting up accident investigation & reporting, sourcing FLT training/first aid training.

My responsibilities were for the full site in relation to H & S, Quality, Output, Purchasing, Stock control, maintenance and general HR functions. This included overall management of all departments including warehouse, planning, production and maintenance. Along with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility I also had responsibility for costs based on the KRAs set each year and I worked with the Managing Director to set and manage the budgets.

My first role in this company was Process manager responsible for Health & Safety, Quality & product specifications. After 12 months I was asked to take over the development and introduction of our foam mattress & Kit divan base project, this had a successful launch into Retailers such as J Lewis and Feather & Black. These products continued to be made on the main site until it became obvious that we had outgrown the workspace available. I was then given the opportunity to manage the move from site into new leased premises (12,000 sq ft) this move was successfully achieved. Once again due to new developments of our more complex & expensive products the company had to move again, this time our board of directors decided to purchase a new building of 44000 sq ft, again I was given the task of project managing the move. This meant negotiating with contractors and ensuring completion target dates were met. Working alongside a good team we completed this move without losing a sale.
