After nearly 25 years working in industry (ICI) 15 years of which was for ICI research and development I joined TTE as an E&I trainer. I achieved my Cert-Ed and BA (Hons) in Education and Training and obtained the position of Business Unit Co-ordinator for E & I training. As the apprenticeship model changed to the AMA and then to the AA my role developed to ensuring key Skills and then VRQ, PEO,ERR and PLTS achievement, assessment and IQA. I have recently worked as part of the team that achieved centre status at the JTTC in Ghana. I am now ensconced back in TTE Southbank with the responsibility of Instrument co-ordinator, VRQ, PEO,ERR and PLTS achievement, assessment and IQA, with the prospects of further trips to Ghana in my guise as IQA.
