Initially employed as a consultant and accepted a position as a Senior Product Manager responsible for product management and evolution of LAN, Logical Security, Application Delivery, and End User Compute components.Responsibilities:- Product lifecycle management of LAN, Logical security and Application Delivery Control service components.- End user compute product roll out, including design, delivery and lifecycle management. Components include VDI, Desktop mobility, Centralised Physical Desktop management. Addressable markets targeted were Large Enterprise, SI’s, and local government.Achievements:- WAN Load Balancing service delivered on time, and in budget. This product component offers an 80% commercial reduction in the entry-level service over Colt’s existing WAN Load Balancing service offering. Additionally, offers improved quote to cash, 30% cost saving, and elastic scaling based around features and throughput.- Enterprise Virtual Firewall product component roll out, across Europe, using the Colt Shared Compute platform- Workspace as a Service platform, consisting of VDI, Desktop mobility and centralised Physical Desktop management delivered in March 2014

Employed initially as a Data Centre Hosting Product Manager, promoted to Senior Product Manager in June 2010. Responsible for the data Center managed Hosting product sets in EMEA, and the Global Virtual Private Cloud Infrastructure Service roll-out in EMEA, and US regions.Responsibilities: - The vision and concept of the product including product definition, design, size and shape- Evaluating potential market share, ensuring competitive differentiation, placing the product in a competitive position, creating a product of value, and ensuring scalability- Training sales teams in respect to core Managed Hosting and Cloud products- Evaluation of regional markets to ensure suitable alignment of products with regional cultures- Defining the technology, process and HR requirements, along with any certification requirements in line with the product and marketing strategy- P&L responsibility for owned products, including forecasting the plan from a perspective of revenues and cost of sales- Continual evaluation and development of the product sets managed- Product and service catalogues for owned products, including pricing of the products

Hired to architect and build out the Docklands Data Centre managed services infrastructure to support Managed Hosting services. The deployment was within a green field Tier 3 data Centre facility, with connectivity to multiple carriers. The Focal point of this installation was to create a virtual Managed Hosting Centre environment across multiple sites in Europe, where 1st, 2nd and 3rd line personnel worked across a seamless environment.Responsibilities:- Creating the correct balance of people, process and technology to deliver managed Hosting services within EMEA- Hire and manage a team with required skills to develop the Data Centre in a cost effective manner, whilst recognising and utilising existing skill sets within the organization- Ensuring the team was capable and skilled to interface with sales, to allow design, transition and operation of services- Responsible for the technology and tool set evaluation and roll out- Work with vendors to ensure the appropriate tools, processes and technologies were being utilised, within a defined budget- Communicating with Prospects and Customers to articulate the vision, and ensure that the customer experience was of the highest quality- Responsibility for the Operational budgets, and forecasting of capex and opex to align with the business plan
