I will share those experiences with you. At the age of 15, He worked at Sport Chalet which is a sporting goods store. After just 3 short months he was promoted to Retail Sales Manager. He did very well in the (sales) aspect at Sport Chalet. They were not required to sale but he was drawn to sale. This sparked a hunger for change, he wanted a change in experience. He started his next adventure at Freedom Solar, This was a start up Solar company that just got things going at a perfect time when the solar industry started to really heat up. His starting position was a Canvasser (door knocker) and he did exceptional at it. He would always say it took around 100 no's to get 1 yes. In about 5 months he got promoted to Canvassing Manager, built a strong team of incredible strong minded go-getters. He wanted another challenge, so he moved into the Sales Rep position now sitting at the other side of the fence. After about 6 months he was promoted to Sale Manager. During his 6 months time as a Sales Rep, he generated close to $1 Million. On to his next adventure he shifted industries once again for another challenge. He started over at the Ontario International Airport. Malcolm started here with a big vision of starting from the bottom as an aircraft freight handler to one day being in a position to open new contracts for the airport and bring in more revenue. In about 3 years he was promoted 4 times, landing him in the Operations ULD Manager. This was a great accomplishment and an amazing experience but not the direction he wanted to go in. Starting on yet another adventure in a totally different industry, the Cannabis industry. This was by far one of the best opportunities that taught him the most in business. Traveling with his family, sometimes being away from his family for months, networking like crazy, scaling to a million dollars in revenue with B2B sales, and building a strong team of trimmers. Forever grateful for everything learned.There’s no person alive who found success before experiencing failure. For Malcolm, there were various failed business launches in-between his 9-5's that almost finished him. It wasn’t until he discovered the importance of self reflection...that his real potential began to shine through.
