Design/Project Engineer IV for Cianbro Corp. Industrial Group in Baltimore MD., Natural Gas Industry. Responsibilities include, providing Field Engineering oversight and review of Civil Subcontractors to Cianbro Corp. Seeking out and vetting subcontractors for various elements of the project. Initiate and submit project Subcontractor Requisitions to Cianbro purchasing agents. Scheduling and monitoring subcontractors to meet project deadlines. Originate, monitor and follow-up Requests For Information. Assist with document control and review. Equipment and pipeline placement and alignment. Earthwork volumes and tracking. Effectively worked with and directed Superintendents, Subcontractors to develop strategies for constructability of projects. Generated Requests For Information and provided information, suggestions for improvement and design alternatives to Engineers and Government representatives. Provided follow-up and implemented changes accordingly.Provided Surveying/Field Engineering training to new Engineering employees. Appointed as Superintendent of all landside utilities installation, including all electrical, storm drainage, communications, sewage lift station, water and fire protection, pavement regrading and replacement. Appointed as Alternate Quality Control Officer and conducted weekly QC meetings. Appointed as Alternate Safety Officer and conducted daily field safety inspections.Daily field layout; Autocad drawings, as-builts,daily reports,tracking all extra costs,assisted with change orders ,assisted other superintendents push the work in the field.
