CurrentWorking as an electrical / electronic assembly cell test technician, engaged in the building, calibration, testing, fault diagnosing to component level and repairing of all mechanical and electrical aspects of rheological test equipment, and associated temperature control units for laboratories and Educational establishments worldwide. • Engaging in the development of procedures for and building of a range of Temperature Control Units for the new Kinexus range of Rheometers, fitting, functionally testing and aligning of TCU’s temperature calibration of the Rheometers, utilizing Desktop and handheld Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, PT100 Thermisters/Thermocouples and Computerised Digital Data logging software. • Currently investigating the failure of the Peltier elements used within the Hooded Plate. • The training of Sub contractor staff in various assembly techniques of current Temperature Control Units • The Development and Documentation of assembly techniques of Prototype Temperature Control Units, Culminating in Written Reporting of test data and recommendations for future development. • Where I was introduced to and became familiar with the underlying principles and concepts of JIT, SAP, cellular manufacturing, 5S and 6 Sigma working practices. • Assembling and testing of Instrument System computers, configuring and loading of relevant software
