Stock Controller
Current• Accounts for all receiving/issuing transactions, and enforces all appropriate control methods • Utilizes computerized reports, to verify his/her receiving/issuing• Researches and accounts for transaction discrepancies in receipt and transfers, utilizing various reports and listings• Maintains his/her section's building and equipment security, as well as a clean and orderly work bay• Ensures, timely, safe, efficient and effective unloading of Suppliers delivery vehicles, identifying purchase order numbers on Suppliers documentation, pulling appropriate receiving Copy from file• Matches line items of purchase order with Supplier documentation, and material received for accuracy• Labels materials with correct Item number and date received• Ensures the safe and correct operation of forklift trucks, cranes and other material handling equipment, to facilitate proper movement and placement of material in his/her section• Reconciles dual counts and recounts as required, before submitting documentation for data entry• Ensures that documentation is promptly submitted to data entry, in order that "real-time" is maintained as closely as possible on the system• Waits on and assists, walk-in Suppliers as required. • Ensures good housekeeping in his/her section• Liaise with QC inspector, in order that QC inspections are performed on all received materials
