I attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate and graduate school, earning a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in Spanish Linguistics. During undergrad, I studied abroad for a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon graduating, I moved to rural northwestern Spain, along the Atlantic coast, and taught English to local elementary students for a year. I later returned to the US for graduate school, during which time I had the opportunity to teach an accelerated introductory Spanish course to undergraduate students who had previously taken Spanish in high school. I'm currently in the process of becoming a full-time educator in the Atlanta area and am also looking to tutor in the community as well. I thoroughly enjoy passing my knowledge of Spanish to beginners. If you speak with my friends and family, you'll soon find out that I spontaneously break out into Spanish mid-conversation because it reminds me of the exciting journey I've had with the language.As an outgoing person, it's this journey I've taken that keeps me motivated to learn more and spread the knowledge I've gained to others. It's a very rewarding and fulfilling opportunity that I plan to continue for years to come.
