Responsible for all Police related Emergency Planning at Birmingham Airport (i.e. police responses to crashed aircraft, fuel farm incidents and the operation of the Airports Friends and Family/ Survivor Reception Centres), which required working closely with partners at the Airport. Whilst in situ I also jointly planned and delivered a tabletop exercise around an MTFA attack, which was subsequently delivered to senior police officers as well as members of the Airports (and Airlines) managers..The role also included responsibility for planning and delivering of training to both Airport Police and the wider West Midlands Police family.

On promotion in 2002 remained within Coventry and undertook roles in Response and Neighbourhood policing as well as Custody Sgt and Professional Development Unit Sgt where I was responsible for a small training team and overall responsibility for the development and management of all Student Officers on the BCU

Range of duties including response and neighbourhood officer with all the normal commensurate duties associated with them (investigations, arrests, scene control etc) was also selected as a Tutor Constable while a neighbourhood officer. Also held a position in a BCU based surveillance team and undertook static and foot mobile surveillance as part of the role.
