I am a fully qualified mechanic/technician with over 20 years experience, 15 years of which are in the demanding high performance/motorsport sector in which customers expect only the highest standards of craftsmanship and fine attention to detail. More recently to broaden my knowledge with a fresh challenge I have made the transition to testing cutting edge Electric/Hybrid vehicles, Gaining associated qualifications. I am responsible for the construction and implementation of bespoke high voltage battery systems and other test equipment.beyond family life my interests revolve mainly around cars, personal projects have ranged from taking a derelict vw transporter and turning it into a full campervan, in which i enjoy breaks with my family, to converting a mk2 golf gti to accept a 280hp audi tt engine.due to my proffesional skills i have often been asked to srutineer competing vehicles at trackdays in which i have participated and have previously judged concours events.I have vast experience of all types of work ranging from sporting/classic vehicles from the 1950s to the next generation of electric vehicles. , including major rebuild and restoration projects.I have also carried out competition preparation, testing, development, chassis set up/geometry work and have prepared lotus championship class winning cars.Further skills include fabrication, welding, ICE engine and transmission overhauls and of course dealer level diagnostics to the very latest vehicles.
