I sit on the EXCO, am a member of the Operational Risk Committee and sit on steering and working group committees. These include data, functional currency, workflow, product governance, and various project committees.Responsible for the support of products including mortgage loans, fixed deposits, debit cards, booking trade deals, reporting, trade finance, customer onboarding and maintenance; inward and outward payments, cheque clearing, limit setting, nostro account reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting, vendor management, risk management. Achievements:• Payment Enhancements: Moved outward payments accuracy percentage from 60% to 99.8% and saved two FTE by:o the implementation of the duplicate detection module, o STP for inward payments o outward payment automation, FX settlement payment auto matching, o bulk upload of utility bill payments.• Enhanced the standing order process that resulted in the automation of 1,200 outward payments per annum.• Reporting Enhancements: Developed “Funds received Inwards” (FRI) report, delivered on the “Back Trade “reporting project for FX Swaps,• System Enhancements: Implemented loan outstanding account for mortgage loans enabling each loan to have its own loan account.• Reconfigured the “Devon” (derivatives system) to accept repos & reverse repos.• Delivered on the transition from Libor based rates to RFR (Sonia).
