I graduated Collins Academy High School with a high school diploma in 2017. I learned how to draw and read blueprints in high school, as well as my first semester at Western Illinois University where I studied technology engineering. I beginned learning how to paint in 2018 and been apart of many residential and commercial projects for many years. Along the way, I gained more interest in becoming a skilled craftsmen by helping small businesses work on residential plumbing and carpentry. In 2022, I joined HACIA Pre-Apprenticeship Program partnered with St. Augustine College to further my education about the trades. I finished the program in July of 2022 with certifications in NCCER Core and Basic Safety, OSHA 10, and CPR Training. I'm a hard worker who learns fast on the job. Math has always been my favorite subject. I understand how to use and read a tape measure. I have experience operating hand tools and power tools. I'm willing to help the team anyway possible to achieve the overall goal in a safe and timely manner. I know how to maintain a clean workspace from dangerous or hazardous materials. I'm open to learning new techniques and advice from industry professionals. Lastly, Im very eager to work in the field to start a career as a union laborer.
