Race Tracking (2000-2004): Project managed a “Proof of Concept” trial for a horse tracking system and identified techniques which work in the complex propagation that exists within a pack of horses. Contracted service from CSIRO to build the initial prototype and conduct field trials.Graphics (1999-2005): Single handily wrote the first two generations of automated graphics for the display of real-time odds and dividendsCOFDM Research: A research project aimed at removing the last analogue link in the delivery of pictures into commercial premises. The aim was to convert DVB-S stream into a DVB-T stream and modulate it back into the UHF spectrum using COFDM techniques. Normal digital TV could then be used to deliver an end to end digital solution.Interactive TV: Designed and programmed an in house prototype betting interfaces using OpenTv SDK tools and other prototyping software. In 2000 attended OpenTv training in London.
