Worked mostly as the single author within project teams.Tasks:Document preparation from initial design to final delivery and subsequent maintenance: Design includes: understanding readership, customer requirements, applicable specifications and safety aspects; preparation of synopses, proposals/recommendations; time/cost estimation; initial and ongoing liaison with engineers and customers. Delivery includes: preparation of deliverables at all stages from draft to final documents via review cycles; ongoing document maintenance through amendments and/or complete updates. Also investigated and implemented the use of on-screen context sensitive Help associated with various human-computer interfaces (including single source - multiple output techniques). Investigated S1000D and other XML based documentation options.
