Ever since I could remember, basketball has been the dream. However, my true passion has always stood with helping others. I saw success in basketball as a means to have the money, voice, and platform to create an immediate positive impact on our world. I hold the quote, “rent your title, own your character” very close to my heart. Right now, I’m renting basketball and I own everything off the court. Making a difference is who I am and what I stand for and at the end of the day, it’s bigger than basketball. Growing up in family with a tradition of service to others, I saw first-hand some of the problems affecting our world. One that stood out to me, in particular, is the deficit of clean water in Africa and the burden it puts on the people. As a result, in 2020 I founded Hoops4Humanity to address the overwhelming need for clean water, specifically in East Africa, and I also launched the Brogdon Family Foundation. The Brogdon Family Foundation exists to positively impact the lives of children, families, and communities globally through strategic investments in clean water infrastructure, education, and advocacy for civil and human rights for all. Within the realm of basketball, I serve as Vice President of the NBPA and worked alongside my peers, NBPA and the league to develop and execute the NBA bubble amid the Coronavirus Pandemic. In addition, I continue to dedicate my platform towards sharing my experiences, passions, partnering with other committed allies, and supporting efforts that empower others to live their best lives. Outside of basketball and philanthropic initiatives, I’m passionate about impact investing, social justice activism, immersing myself in different cultures while traveling, my dogs, wine and of course spending time with my family.For marketing, business and speaking inquiries, please contact ashley.feagan@caa.com
