Peak Analysis & Automation are a systems integration company that started off in 1992 doing almost anything (legal !) in any industry. Since 1999, we have focused on laboratory automation (which our lab auto control software packages OVERLORD. I run the Software and Research & Development Teams.

I was appointed to the Executive board of ALA for 3 years. I was President last year (Year 3), having served as Vice-President (Year 2) and Secretary to the Executive Board (Year 1). I was elected because my past experience in petrochemicals, forensic science and I represent a small company. I oversaw the merger of the Society of Biochemical Screening (SBS) and the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) in 2010. I cuurently sit on the International Advisory Committee and Exhibitors advisory committee.

I moved on to the Information Technology Research Unit, where I integrated a Mitsubishi robot with a mass spectrometer, built and supported 10 cartesian robots for laboratory use and integrated a dual arm Zymark system.
