Malcolm Hawker serves as Chief Operating Officer for SESAC Music Group where he is charged with overseeing the operations of all the SESAC portfolio companies. Malcolm joins SESAC with extensive experience in copyright licensing, international business development and technology, and leadings our efforts to create efficiency and growth across our music divisions including SESAC Performing Rights, The Harry Fox Agency, Audiam, CCLI, Music Services, and AudioSalad.Prior to joining SESAC, Hawker served as the President and CEO of CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) a global rights licensing and resource company. CCLI serves over 250,000 churches, schools, and other organizations in more than 150 countries and represents the intellectual property rights of over 5,000 church music publishers and song owners.Hawker has extensive mergers & acquisitions experience, responsible for the acquisitions of Christian Copyright Solutions, Loop Community, Music Services and AudioSalad into the SESAC Music Group portfolio. He also was instrumental in the building of WorshipTools, the largest Church Worship software platform serving the global church community and continues overseas these companies.Hawker served as CCLI’s Asia-Pacific Managing Director in Sydney, Australia beginning in 2006, expanding the business throughout Asia, and establishing the office in Korea. Promoted to CCLI’s Chief Operating Officer in Washington State, USA through the end of 2015 when he was promoted to President and CEO.He currently lives in New York with his wife, Linda, and they have three adult children.
