DCAE Cranwell’s provided Phase 2 initial specialist training to all RAF recently commissioned Engineer Officers in order to prepare them to take up their first productive appointments. As a 'Burnham Lecturer' I provided the management skills input to the engineering officers' training. It was a wonderful job and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Unfortunately, as a result of defence cuts, the contract ended.
