I help experts to be seen, heard and understood.Previously a senior producer at the BBC, I added public communication skills trainer to my activities and now have over 20 years experience helping people develop their abilities. I work all over the world and I build the confidence and develop the skills essential to public speaking, presenting, media interviews, other media activity, chairing, panels, writing, webcasts, festival and conference events and so on. My clients include corporations and individuals; covering the areas of science, politics, academia, business, charity sector, public and private, local and international. Right now I'm working on projects with CERN, British Academy, British Council, several universities and Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI). I work frequently (but by no means exclusively) with leaders and academics and coach on a range of communication issues. I am an experienced public speaker and broadcast media professional – (both as presenter and producer/director). I started working with the BBC in 1989 and became a senior producer for features and documentaries. I have been an independent producer since 1997. My goal: To help my clients deliver their best performances, speeches, presentations and interviews. Through our company 'Solid Gold Hat Ltd' we likje to be alert to the opportunies and needs of the moment and can form teams to deliver short term or longer term projects.
