Managed White Rose field activities including; SeaRose FPSO operations, development and exploration drilling, development projects, reservoir management, exploration, business development and finance.• Member of five-person Executive Committee that set Husky’s strategy and objectives and managed business performance against clearly defined metrics.• Improved Atlantic Region’s HSE performance by focusing on process safety and risk assessment.• Improved SeaRose uptime through increased focus on asset integrity, training and competency and improved operations management. SeaRose achieved over 96% uptime from 2014 to 2017.• Maintained Atlantic Region profitability and free cash flow throughout 2014 downturn by reducing headcount, improving efficiency and drilling six development and infill wells to maintain production. • Developed an Area Development Plan (ADP) to focus resources on White Rose near and far field tie-back opportunities. ADP led to drilling of North West White Rose discovery well in 2017, successful bids for adjacent acreage and a programme of appraisal wells to be drilled over next five years.• Managed two-year deferral of $3 billion West White Rose Extension project from December 2014 until re-sanction and start-up in May 2017. Project comprises of a concrete gravity structure, drilling and production topsides and extensive modifications and additions to the field’s sub-sea infrastructure. First oil is scheduled for early 2022.• As chairman of Petroleum Research Newfoundland & Labrador, guided successful Ocean Supercluster application for federal funding through its Innovation Supercluster Initiative. • Actively participated in Newfoundland & Labrador government’s Oil and Gas Industry Council that was established to improve the province’s competitiveness.
