Major activities included;• Acquisition of 1,000km2 3D high-resolution seismic survey. • Drilling 28 new development wells, working over six wells and fracture treating a further ten wells.• Major facilities upgrade works, including new separation and flare systems at all three fields, early gas injection and infrastructure projects including offices, warehouses and accommodation units.• Completed FEED contract for El Gassi field miscible gas flood project. Managed international bidding and secured Hess and Sonatrach approvals for $700 million EPC contract award.Responsible for the Block 401c exploration programme. A 650km 2D seismic survey was completed in 2001 and two exploration wells were drilled in 2003. A further 570km of 2D seismic was acquired in early 2004 and two exploration/appraisal wells were drilled in Q3 2004. The Bir El M’sana Field was delineated by these wells and was subsequently developed.Managed relationships with the Ministry of Energy, Sonatrach and local authorities.

Led Gas Sales Agreement negotiations and secured Petronas and PetroVietnam's approvals for the Phase II Development Plan.
