Chief Mobile Supervisor
CurrentGuided by a new and ambitious Corporate Plan, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has embarked on a 5-year journey to transform and completely modernize North America’s third largest transit system into a transit system that makes Toronto proud. Reporting to the Manager of the Transit Control Center, the Chief Mobile Supervisor role includes: Act as the Emergency Response / Incident Commander (ERC/IC) during emergencies, overseeing and delegating the duties of response personnel, ensuring the safety of employees and passengers, as well as the safe and prompt restoration of service in conjunction with other TTC personnel and outside agencies to minimize service disruptions and lost time.Respond to and investigate incidents that may impact subway, streetcar, and bus operations.Conduct regular audits of TTC equipment, policy and procedure to ensure safety and customer service standards are met and adhered to.Treat passengers and employees with respect and dignity, and ensuring that the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC), Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related orders so they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service -provider and employer.
