I enjoy a challenge, particularly when driving projects and business functions to perform as well as they can. I have always been able to understand and resolve issues either from financial performance or client satisfaction, although I find that frequently both go hand in hand. I’m equally as happy setting up commercial, finance and supply chain functions from the start to secure business success for the future.Business growth is one of my focus areas, I like to expand my portfolio and continually seek opportunities where I can either increase current client contracts or tender and secure additional projects. I take pride in my ability to drive savings and efficiencies. I gain insight into my client’s or my company’s operations, business functions or a particular project and then combine this knowledge with my expertise to devise and implement solutions to reduce expenditure. People development rewards me too and I invest time in helping others with their careers either in my capacity as a business leader, manager, RICS counsellor or mentor. There’s nothing better than seeing someone you have developed succeed and it’s a great way to retain staff and plan for succession.
