I am a highly experienced senior executive who combines my skills as an award winning urban designer in making great cities and building strong communities with urban leadership that inspires multi-disciplinary teams and achieves people-focused outcomes.With diverse professional experience in all spheres of government and the private sector I have held pivotal roles in some of the most significant city-shaping programs and major public space projects undertaken in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. I have worked in the UK and Asia, as an adviser to government on urban planning and design and have been appointed to numerous professional and advisory Boards.Renewing tired urban precincts, making successful public places, building capacity in urban communities and implementing transformational change agendas for Australian cities are my key areas of professional expertise. I am a Fellow and former Vice-President of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Institute of Business Economics, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra and a former board member of the Riverbank Authority, Adelaide and the National Capital Authority, Canberra. I have been the Chair of the the Australian Urban Design Awards jury for 3 years and am currently a Board member of Place Leaders Asia Pacific.
