About Malcolm Tyson, Phd

Throughout my over 20 years experience in the Aerospace /Defense Government contracting industry the need to add value to a particular situation has always been a driving factor in my performance. Efficiently and effectively leaving a situation better than the way I found it is immensely gratifying. Whether it was the through writing White Papers on the current financial management environment, flow charting process steps or anything else that added value to the functional operation of the organization, I’ve never felt more empowered then when a situation is made better through a process of improvement. Yet there was something missing, the urge to support the needs of commercial entities in an entrepreneurial capacity was grew greater over the years but just like so many people I suffered from limiting beliefs… “I’m not smart enough”… “It’s just not the right time ”…”I don’t have this”… “I need that”… were the types responses I got when I examined myself and asked what am I doing to improve my chances of realizing this dream I keep having? It wasn’t until I was forced into the scenario and I had no choice but to put my trust in God and embrace the entrepreneurial spirit that I brought to those corporations over the many years of my career. As the Managing Director & Chief Strategist of Stratascension, Inc., a strategic business consulting and coaching firm, I lead the company on its mission to offer real-world evidence based management principles and practices to improve the ability of organizations, both public and private to leverage strategic decision making and innovativeness in an increasingly complex, demanding, and results orientated environments. If you’re interested in learning more about the powerful process of strategic decision making and accelerating your firm’s innovativeness based on proven best practices, I’m looking to connect with the leaders of dynamic SMEs in demanding industries to transform them from good to great.
