As a research assistant at the University of Alberta, I conduct research in approximate computing, stochastic hardware, and their application in resource-efficient neural networks, under the supervision of Professor Jie Han. Improving my researching skills and domain knowledge in the world of hardware design, i.e., mainly ASIC and FPGAs, and the use of appropriate CAD tools are main passion. I have hands-on experience in using Intel and Xilinx platforms, as well as tools like ModelSim, Quartus, Vivado, and Vitis ISE.I hold a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Digital System Design. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for Digital Logic Design and an intern at Crouse P.J.S. Co., where I developed and tested FPGA systems using Xilinx's Zynq SoC. I also conducted research at CADLAB, where I designed customizable accelerators for mathematical functions. I'm fluent in C/C++, Python, VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog, and proficient in other tools such as Altium, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and SolidWorks.
