Howdy! I am an industrial and systems engineer passionate about project management and process improvement. My experience in the bio pharmaceutical industry has allowed me to see how to best drive improvement through capital projects in a fast paced environment.At work, I am a member of the Project Engineering - Capital Projects team at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies. Starting as an intern, I have been able to learn about the many different factors that drive a project. Once transitioning to full-time, I have evaluated new capital projects, and managed projects from the initiation phase through completion.In school, my focus’s were operational efficiency and project management. Through these tracks, I was able to earn certifications in both Data Operations and Engineering Project Management. I also held a leadership position in the industrial engineering honor society, Alpha Pi Mu. Throughout my time in Alpha Pi Mu, I helped to implement group study sessions to increase peer engagement. Additionally I worked with local businesses to host profit shares, and met with former members to host industry nights, where they would share work experiences and provide insightful information to our members.Finally, I have developed many technical skills through my different experiences. For project work, I use MS Projects, Smartsheets, BlueBeam, and Procore as tools to manage projects. I also use Excel, VBA, and Pivot Tables when working with project budgets.
