HR Manager of a total workforce of 150+ employees, manage and lead all HR business functions and operations throughout the organisations six sites within Tasmania. One of the main objectives of my appointment to this role was to scope and implement a HCM system to migrate the organisation from primarily paper-based, to a fully digital environment. I was solely responsible for the scoping, reviewing, selection, and implementation of the selected HCM system. This project was undertaken whilst maintaining all standard day to day HR business operations. The implementation was my primary objective throughout my time at the organisation with the HCM functions incorporating all lifecycle components (including but not limited to, recruitment, on-boarding / off-boarding, L&D, P&P, e-documents and requests, compliance, personnel document management and maintenance, position descriptions, reporting, organisational charts, contacts, as well as the integration and implementation of the Payroll module of the HCM system). My day to day HR functions included; managing and maintaining all workers comp policies and claims, all safety and safety requirements (RTW, risk assessments, incident prevention and management), all ER and IR matters (in line with all relevant acts, awards, and law’s), training and leading all management members in applicable areas of HR, preparation of state based HR metrics for national reporting, participation in regulatory auditing for various requirements and accreditations, P&P preparation and review, mentoring and assisting in the development of future key personnel in all aspects of business HR fuctions.
