As the business manager of the company I took on a variety of responsibilities that included:-Manage a sales team with members stationed in different parts of North India, monitor and manage sales through the internal and external network, and analyse sales metrics for sales and marketing alignment.-Responsible for product pricing, development of new business strategies and stock management to ensure smooth supply of products to customers.-Regularly liaise with suppliers to execute orders and keep up-to-date with market happenings.-Responsible for maintaining company’s profile on an online trading portal. -Manage the process of preparation of bids placed by the business for various tenders.-Initiated and implemented a new Talent Management strategy to acquire, train and deploy sales staff.-Managed the end to end process of planning, design and execution of four exhibitions booths at the annual ophthalmology conference (5000+ attendees) held in New Delhi.

My Graduate Placement in Central Postal Control (CPC) entailed two projects:Project Manager for Modernisation phase 2 (June'13-Jan'14)-Tasked with building a viable business case for the modernisation of my department (£1m+ investment), I worked with Compliance, IT, Legal and Procurement teams for the same. -I lead senior stakeholders to achieve key deliverables.-Conducted high level requirements analysis to identify and validate the core needs of the business.-Supervised the process to send an RFI to market in order to evaluate feasibility of obtaining the software required by the business.-Was responsible for obtaining clearance for project from three governance boards.Relocation Manager (June'13 to Aug'13)-As the relocation manager of two departments, I had to ensure that requirements of the two teams in the new relocated office were adequately planned for and met. Sorting out all issues after the move was also my responsibility.-Managed people’s expectations and uneasiness with change.-Prepared contingency plans and managed the change process when the contingency plan was implemented.

My graduate placement in the Energy, Environment and Technical Services team entailed working on two projects:Project Manager - Water Sustainability at Royal Mail (Sept'12-May'13)-Worked on a benchmarking exercise that included a detailed analysis of Royal Mail’s water consumption. Analysed water consumption data for the top 100 water consuming sites in order to recognise consumption patterns of different types of units within Royal Mail. -Designed a water audit toolkit to collect information from World Class Mail pillar leads in Distribution and Mail Centres. Conducted several audits in person.-Assisted the Group Sustainability Manager in production of a water policy and water strategy for Royal Mail.-Developed a toolkit that could measure potential water savings by investing in suitable technology and ROI for the same.-Worked with numerous consultants, front line staff and the company’s service providers during the course of the project.Information Manager (March'13-May'13)-My responsibilities included meeting tight deadlines, submitting daily forecast reports, building relationships with consultants to keep the flow of communication and ensuring they met various deadlines. It was critical to pay attention to detail to keep a tab on every project activity and see that it met the required criteria.-Delivered results in spite of significant setbacks in Systems and Technology.-I was also responsible for management of information on a live site and maintenance of an open to edit project database in a large time critical project with a timeline of two months.

Worked as a member of the sales team for an international charity. Responsibilities included meeting with a wide variety of people to raise money. Worked in a target driven environment that helped me develop resilience and perseverance to achieve goals. It enhanced my communication skills and I learnt to quickly build rapport with new people. Due to my consistent performance, I was given the responsibility of training new recruits within a month of joining the company.
