Created installation documents for the access points and network gear. Handled any escalated challenges during the install phase.

I joined ENA as part of their wireless team. My responsibilities were, WLAN design, troubleshooting, and implementation.

Member of network engineering team responsible to provide design, troubleshooting and installation of LAN/WAN and WLAN. I worked on projects that involved fixing issues related to LAN and WLAN primarily and adding some additional WAN circuits. Performing site surveys to gather data and then recommend new hardware to standardize hardware deployment across the organization. Ingram is a multi-vendor organization consisting of Cisco, Palo Alto, Brocade, Dell, Netgear, Extreme, Cisco Meraki, F5 etc.• Primary task assigned is to gather data from all the sites with legacy equipment and provide detailed report on upgrading the network hardware for LAN/WAN/WLAN. Report included existing warehouse layout, WLAN deployment, existing network hardware and all remediation/upgrade recommendations documented/simulated in Visio.• Provide support to teams across the organization for new business as well as internal applications which included setting up B2B VPN connectivity, F5 configuration, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto configuration changes. • Install, configure and troubleshoot Arista, Cisco, Brocade switches for Core/Access Layer.• Migrated legacy networks that business acquired behind Cisco Nexus Core/Arista Cores.

Member of Network Engineering team responsible for the corporate, 200+ warehouses and two data center networks, LAN/WAN/WLAN connectivity.- Designed and deployed network infrastructure for warehouses from 100K sq’ to a Million sq’. I managed projects from beginning until the end meeting all required deadlines.- All projects involved coordinating with the carriers for circuit install and turn ups, cabling vendors for the physical layout of the network such as Fiber path, Demarc, MDF, IDF locations, equipment connectivity diagrams, wireless access point placements. I utilized Draft Sight software to read the facility blueprints.- Provided vendors SOW’s and BOM’s, validated all design requirements during and after install. - Reduced overall company’s WLAN deployment expenditure by bringing most deployments in house. I created standards for deployment scenarios in order to provide flawless implementation experience.- Configured equipment such as Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, Routers and Switches, provisioned Cisco VoIP phones. I created standard templates for the configuration to achieve consistency across our network which reduced deployment time.- Utilized Ekahau to simulate access point placements as well as perform site surveys.- Utilized Meta Geek Spectrum Analysis along with Cisco Clean Air technology and Ekahau to troubleshoot WLAN issues related to 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz frequencies. - Created network connectivity maps (Utilizing Visio and NetBrain) for new and existing sites to make troubleshooting easier for the team.

Provided client connectivity solutions working with the Customer Engineering and rest of the departments. Troubleshoot issues escalated by the NOC and provide root cause analysis and future prevention.- Custom design and build Debian Linux/OpenVPN servers for client remote locations- Configured Cybera’s proprietary firewalls and tested with the new Concentrators- Troubleshoot escalated issues on the Cybera appliances having connectivity issues- Managed client host connections (Cybera to Client Corporate location) primarily Cisco to Juniper VPN tunnels.- Supported and managed company/client infrastructure on Linux, Juniper SRX, M320, ERX1440, Cisco 800 and 2800 series routers as well as the proprietary custom built Cybera appliance.

I was responsible for the network infrastructure of the organization. Updating Firewalls, Switches, vendor relations, working with new clients for different connectivity options as well as internal clients with all network related issues.• Worked with the systems engineer and successfully migrated all network gear and server hardware in our data center from one location to the upgraded racks• Audited all configurations on the switches as well as the firewalls and updated them to be more compliant for security audits.• Deployed RADIUS server so that all network gear access can be restricted and logged• Upgrade switches in the data center to support future expansion and possible EIGRP deployment• Create standards for VPN connectivity, Switches, Firewalls.• GLBP configuration on the new data center switches (4948E) for redundancy, optimizing STP across all switches, fixed spanning tree issues and migrated from PVST 802.1d to RSTP 802.1w to provide better convergence time in case of failure between corporate and data center.• Configured top of the rack model for the switches and connected all switches to the main core switches with port channels to provide redundancy.• Cut through proxy configuration on the Cisco ASA firewall to control user access into the DMZ• Cisco Any Connect client configuration and deployment utilizing Microsoft NPS 2008 server• Configured and managed Global Scape EFT server for secure file transfers• Cisco Smartnet management, Vendor management for network hardware and circuits• Configured automatic ISP failover successfully utilizing dual ISP's connected to two different firewalls as part of the DR plan. Also deployed a secondary point to point circuit between our data center and corporate location and configured both point tobpoint circuits for failover.

Work with a team of network engineers supporting a complex data center environment consisting of Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Content Switches, Access Points, Wireless LAN Controllers, IPSec VPN's, Frame Relay and MPLS connectivity.

Working in a Network Department with a team of 3 other network engineers providing LAN/WAN troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, within the corporate Data Center as well as 800+ locations across multiple states. My job also includes trouble shooting T1, Cable and/or DSL lines. Working with multiple vendors, ensuring primary and backup circuits are on line to meet SLA's. More over I also configure network equipment (Cisco 851W, 881W, 1720 routers, Catalyst 2960 switches) for the new sites as well as for the older sites. Configured IPSec VPN’s and troubleshoot issues related to VPN connectivity. Document and update database. Also assisted network team with the wireless troubleshooting, configuration and implementation procedures. Gained experience with Cisco (WLC's, Aironet 1100, 1142's). I also documented network maps of some sites for easier troubleshooting. Researched wireless issues and presented solutions to management and co workers.

I also provided remote support to clients through PC Any Where, Remote Admin, and Ultra VNC. I customized Ultra VNC Single click for the company bringing the remote support software cost down. Imaging Client PC’s and Servers for data recover. I helped company increase revenue by recommending and qualifying clients for appropriate hardware and software.I also configured and supported Citrix Clients, VPN Tunnels Terminal Server Clients, Group Policies, password resets etc. Supported Operating systems were Windows 2003, 2000 and 98, ME.

Installed verified and supported TCP/IP laser jet printers and Jet direct cards Migrated from NT server to 2000 advance server. Decommissioned older equipment (Cisco routers, switches and servers to provide faster connectivity and enhanced application support) Patching cables (CAT 5e). Hardware and software Inventory was also part of my responsibility and I was required to report it back along with site activity to the project leader. Managed and lead a team of technicians on each site regarding issues related to the project. I am currently working on Verizon/Dunkin Donuts project.
