As a student of Environmental Science and Policy with interests in data analysis and urban studies, I enjoy connecting the dots. During my time at the prominent University of South Florida, I interned at a local civil engineering firm - Tierra, Inc. Following my graduation, I was able to continue my work with Tierra as an Environmental Scientist and GIS Specialist. My knowledge of GIS has allowed me to become a key component in integrating GIS at Tierra, improving our capabilities within the Contamination and Geotechnical Departments. Throughout my undergraduate career, I was able to participate in various leadership roles within the University of South Florida's Sigma Kappa - Lambda Zeta Chapter. As a new member, I served on the Executive Council as the chapter's first Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I continued my leadership efforts within the Panhellenic Community by serving as the Vice President of New Member Relations my senior year. Both of these positions have allowed me to grow as an individual and contribute to the community through various service opportunities and philanthropic efforts such as the Walk to End Alzheimer's.My passions for environmental justice and representation have motivated me to pursue a career as a legal professional. Following graduation, I plan to apply to law school during the 2025-2026 application cycle. My goal as a law student is to contribute a unique perspective to the legal community as a first-generation graduate with strengths in scientific and urban studies. I am excited to embark on this journey and for the experiences to come!

  As an Environmental Intern, I have over 2 years of experience in environmental reporting, including ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and many Contamination Screening Evaluation Reports for Project Development and Environment Studies according to Florida Department of Transportation’s Chapter 20 requirements. I perform desktop research to identify contamination sites using historical aerial photographs, USGS maps, and other resources. I also conduct supplemental research using regulatory databases. I have a working knowledge of Chapter 20’s risk rating system. I have also conducted interviews in the field, when necessary, and evaluate site conditions to identify previously unknown contamination issues. My academic background has enabled me to become a key member in the integration of Tierra’s Geographic Information System, both on the programming side and in the field.
