    For one week every spring there is a music festival that takes place in St. Petersburg, FL called ListeningRoomFestival.com. It is hosted by the same owner as ListeningRoomNetwork.com and is open for all music lovers who enjoy live original music performed in listening room environments. This event is often referred to as "the world's largest gathering of house concerts" because every night there are numerous different house concerts happening all over the city. One day during the festival all of the acts come together to play a main showcase at the Palladium Theater. Even though I help during the whole week, my main role takes place during the showcase. I work the front, making sure all of the 600+ guests are entering in an organized manner, able to buy merch, drinks, and get seated harmoniously. I also help navigate the VIP's to their section. I am the go to person for all staff if any issues arise. I make sure all the volunteers are helped and have what they need, as well as security, tech, the artist's and their agents and any other special circumstances. It is a lot of work for only two paid people (me and the owner) to put on a music festival, but it is also so much fun!
