This role required a successful delivery of the National Citizen Service 'active citizen' syllabus to a group of more than a dozen Young People (YPs) aged 15-17.Additionally, the YPs were under my round-the-clock supervision, especially during the first two weeks of the residential activities. My role required me to complete dynamic risk assessments, liaising with safeguarding officers when necessary and finally, ensuring the organization retained strong links with community partners by acting as a primary point of contact throughout various social action projects. This was a seasonal role, in which I successfully completed five waves and oversaw the successful completion of various projects.

Selected as a member of the 2016-17 delegation from Royal Holloway, University of London, to participate in the prestigious National Model United Nations 2017 conference in New York City. Our delegation spent months attending weekly training sessions at the university preparing for the world's premier model united nations conference, with delegates from over a hundred different countries participating. The conference ended with all participants visiting and sitting in the United Nations General Assembly - winning draft resolution papers recieved the honour of being read out in the actual UNGA.
