This project is funded by KCNSC (Kansas City National Security Campus). Essentially, the team of engineers and I use microphone arrays to detect different sounds a 3D Printer makes. For this project, we used the MakerBot Method X 3D printer. We have installed three microphones in the 3D Printer, but the placement of the microphones varies because we have to find out where to place them for the best results. Meanwhile, I have a high school apprentice who I mentor as a well experienced engineer. This project has benefitted my journey as a young engineer because it gave me the platform to not only learn new things but to also guide someone else through a journey of their own.

➢ Performed In-depth analysis of composite structures and interfaces using Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM).➢ Identified and characterized novel interface structures that promote adhesion between the polymer matrixand incorporated materials.➢ Project funded by DOW, acknowledging the significant potential of this research for industrial applications.
