Worked on projects related to environmental monitoring and assessment of environmental risks. Gained unique insights into waste management, social inclusion and the importance of circular economy at the Waste-to-Energy plant. Conducted periodic air, water, and noise monitoring at the plant to ensure that the environmental parameters adhere to Euro norms. Responsibilities included: 1. Identifying potential occupational & health risks, designing a risk assessment framework & matrix and introducing proactive controls to reduce risks2. Establishing a baseline, predicting the environmental impacts of a project, determining mitigation measures and writing Environmental Impact Assessment reports3. Identifying environmental sensitivities and other parameters around a project location and suggesting risk reduction controls in order to prevent adverse environmental, legal, health, safety and social liabilities4. Regular monitoring of environmental parameters (noise, air, water) related to ongoing projects and reporting to the management and respective stakeholders
