Oversees the Shelter operational day-to-day activities includingdevelopment, planning, and implementation of all program components; buildingOperations and maintenance oversight; community monitoring; and all other Shelter activities.Oversees the approval/denial of guest and resident terminations, coordination of bed assignments , other daily Shelter-related routines.Ensures new guests receive and understand program requirements, rules.Through delegation to the Shelter and Community Advocate team, ensures all housekeeping is completed as needed.Ensures all Shelter and surrounding community issues including those that foster disharmony, harm to self or others, or criminal activity are addressed in a professional, appropriate, and timely manner.Reviews all written violations, incident reports, and staff log narratives for appropriateness, completion, and follow up with guests, staff, Human Resources, and other members of the Leadership Team.Documents and notifies the Program Officer and Human Resources and Administration Director of all guest concerns, potential workflow problems, and/or any exceptions to policy that could impact program flow and security as appropriate.Maintains knowledge of fire, safety, health, and work standards to ensure a safe and positive environment for all.Provides emergency assistance to guests and co-workers as necessary.Provides informed Shelter tours as need to elected officials, funders, donors, and community stakeholders.Completes payroll for all employeesCoordinates direct staff schedules

SAF Caseworkers are part of the Emergency Call Center, which provides 24-hour emergency communications and casework services, including access to financial assistance, emergency notifications and other services offered to members of the U.S. military and their families. Responsibilities in this role include collecting client intake information, verification and delivery of emergency messages, communication and follow-up with family members, military staff and other involved parties. Client needs are often sensitive in nature and require you to be compassionate, have a spirit to help and able to remain calm under stressful situations.Some of the responsibilities of the Call Center Caseworker position are:1. Interviews callers and coordinates requests for service to include recording all client information in the case management system; determining eligibility for American Red Cross services; assessing client needs; and providing appropriate services to clients.2. Performs outbound activities including obtaining verifications, delivering messages, coordinating case management services with the jurisdictional chapter/station, and/or providing other follow-up actions needed for complete and timely client service.3. Understands and applies Red Cross and SAF policies consistently and correctly.4. Composes and delivers emergency communication messages to domestic and overseas locations. Sends messages for delivery to deployment locations and ships at sea using military networks.5. Provides financial assistance to clients on behalf of military aid societies in accordance with the National Memorandum of Understanding.6. Understands and applies Red Cross and SAF policies consistently and correctly.

Assist client base with securing employment, assist in implementing career and learning plans for individuals with barriers. Assist with skills training courses and pathway to college programs for individuals with barriers. Assist clients with resume building, goal setting as well as public resource navigation. Educate clients and families of their human rights with a part time role as the companies human rights officer.

Show apartments to potential renters, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current tenants, and perform managerial duties concerning the property as directed.
